at 2,315 m and has a length of approx. 2.5 km.

Hochmoorloipe in Filzstein
Reachable in 5 minutes by car or ski bus. The Hochmoorloipe on the Gerlosplatte is particularly scenic, as it leads 12 km through the snowy forests from Filzstein to Silberleiten and back again. Tracks for classic and skating.

Tauernloipe at the Krimmler Achental
A very special experience is the 16 km long cross-country ski trail in the Krimml Achental. Start is at the uppermost waterfall and the finish is at the Krimmler Tauernhaus. Transfer by snowmobile possible. Attention untracked trail!

Langlaufloipe in  Finkau
A small but very fine cross country ski trail (2km) is located in the "Wildgerlostal" at the Gasthof Finkau. You can easily drive there by car and enjoy the good cuisine of the Finkau after a good portion of fresh air. There is also a toboggan run right next door.

Cross country skiing in Gerlos
The start of the cross-country ski trails is at the Oberwirt. One trail leads into the Schönach valley (approx. 6 km) to the Lackenalm snack station. Or you can glide into the Funsingau, along the Gerlosbach, and stop at the Grubachhof or Innertalerhof on the way back (6 km long).

Cross country skiing in Krimml and Wald
The villages of Krimml and Wald can be reached in 20 min. by car or ski bus and together offer almost 30 km of cross-country ski trails. Particularly attractive: The illuminated trail at the Finkenhof in Wald - illuminated every evening until about 9:30 pm.

Pinzga Loipe
The "Pinzga Loipe"  is a continuous cross-country skiing trail on the valley floor of the Salzach Valley with a length of over 100 km. It runs parallel to the Salzach river. It is possible to explore the individual villages along the Salzach valley on cross-country skis or skates and then return comfortably to the starting point on the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn (between Zell am See and Krimml)  The cross-country skiing association was awarded five stars (out of five) by the ADAC for its excellent network of trails.
