Due to its location on the Gerlos Pass, the 2 most beautiful alpine valleys are next to us, the Salzach Valley and the Zillertal. Therefore, the choice of destinations and attractions is quite large. Ranging from the greats such as the Großglockner , or the new Nationalparkzentrum  to the jewels such as the mine or the  Habachtal with its emeralds, there is much to discover .

Yodel Hiking Trail

The Königsleitner Jodel trail invites you to yodel and Juchitzen . Along the 8 interactive audio stations, leading from the mountain station on the Larmachalm back to Königsleiten , you can learn this original style of singing. Free entrance.

Spruce tree castle in Zell am Ziller

Families can enjoy a world of fun and adventure clambering on the climbing tower, sliding down the tower chute and ‘working’ in the crane tower. The best view can be enjoyed from the 18 metre-high viewing tower. In addition to a water-play area and an adventure playground, budding little builders can carry on the work of the Spruce Sprites in the builders’ hut and crane. Großglockner High Alpine Road

The most famous alpine road leads you to the highest mountain in Austria , the Grossglockner ( 3,798m ) and its glacier. The Alpine Road is one of the most popular attractions in Austria . On 48 kilometers high alpine road , at an altitude ascent to 2,504 meters you can enjoy a natural and driving experience of a special kind!

Nationalparkwelten Mittersill

Visitors big and small will have a lot of fun and experience at the National Park Worlds in Mittersill. The museum is an indoor museum of the special kind, presenting the fauna and flora of the Hohe Tauern National Park by means of a spectacular exhibition.

Krimml Waterfall

Amazing deluge of water plunge down the waterfalls and create beautiful rainbows. The Krimml Waterfalls are the largest waterfalls of Europe (380 m) and present a stunning scenery in the Pinzgau of Salzburg. Moreover they are coveted as a natural cure. Directly at the start of the alpine street “Gerlospass” you will enjoy a wonderful view of this natural water-spectacle.

Sollte es mal regnen gibt es neben dem neuen Kristallbad in Wald zum Beispiel die neuen „Nationalparkwelten“ in Mittersill, den Wollstadl in Bramberg, einige Mineralienmuseen, eine Erlebnis-Sennerei, die Swarovski Kristallwelten u.v.m. Oder wie wäre es mit einem Ausflug nach Salzburg oder Innsbruck?
