"Bio, from our region and without right onto your plate" is the credo of Hotelchef Christian Eder when it comes to food. "This year, we have made an important step - we have been certified. The associations Bio Austria  and  Bioparadies Salzburger Land  are two important partners that helped us. We are delighted that our guests can now enjoy even more regional organic food can."

My delightful organic day

Our guests start their holiday with a tasty and healthy regional breakfast buffet. Many products such as eggs, honey and bread come from regional organic farmers. The marmalade is cooked by our granny, and tea herbs are grown in the hotel garden and the Hollersbacher Kräutergarten

The holiday region Nationalpark Hohe Tauern is Europe's first best practice region with an above-average number of organic farmers. You can find four protected food trademarks: Pinzgauer Bierkäse, Pinzgauer Kitz, Pinzgauer Rind and Bramberger fruit juice. The red deer grows in the Hohen Tauern National Park, the fresh fish comes out of our clear mountain streams.

In the afternoon you can enjoy our homemade cakes made from organic spelt flour. A "Bionade" lemonade, a bio-drinking chocolate from "Zotter" or a cup of fairtrade coffee can be served. Connoisseurs appreciate the fine selection on the wine list, mainly from Austria. Biological production is also a priority here: new are the Grüne Veltliner vom Lesehof Stagard  and the bio Blaufränkische vom Heinrich

The kitchen team loves to prepare vegetarian and vegan dishes and is also specialized in food allergies and on intolerances of all kinds.

Jeder Bio-Betrieb muss sich strengen Kontrollen unterziehen. Hier können Sie nachschauen, ob Ihr Produzent oder Verabreicher ein Biozertifikat besitzt.

Wir verfügen natürlich über ein Biozertifikat von der SLK Salzburg und sind stolz darauf. Denn nur so ist sichergestellt, dass bio auch bio ist. Hier finden Sie unser Biozertifikat >>
