Easy tours For easy hikes you usually do not need provisions, only some water is enough. The duration is with breaks about 3-4 h. Even inexperienced hikers can participate.

Planetary nature trail

As a beginner's tour, our planetary nature trail is particularly suitable, which begins and ends at the highest planetarium in Europe, the Königsleiten observatory. This circular trail leads in 2-3 hours around Königsleiten, through forests and on hills with great views. You can get a hiking map at the reception.

Health hike at the Krimml Waterfalls

We start at the parking lot of the Water Wonder World in Krimml. After 15 minutes we already reach the thundering Krimml waterfall. There we take a deep breath and learn interesting facts about the positive health effects of the waterfall. We continue along the waterfall path to Gasthof Schönangerl, where we cross the Krimmler Ache and return to Krimml along the old Tauern path. Finally, we can refresh our feet in the Kneipp facility.

Hike at the reservoir

We start our hike at the Bräuern-Alm. From there, the trail leads around the Durlaßboden reservoir. Along the northern shore we have beautiful views towards Reichenspitze. After about 1 hour we reach the Gerloser Seestüberl, there we can stop and enjoy the freshly smoked trout. Those who are still fit can continue hiking to Gasthof Finkau and stop there for a bite to eat. We return via an asphalt road. The entire round has a length of 11 km.

Herbs hiking tour

In the mountain meadows around Königsleiten we collect fresh plants during our herb hike. Which moon signs fit particularly well and which weeds are good for us, we can learn during this hike. Afterwards, these can also be immediately processed into salads, soups or even desserts. In the Hollersbach herb garden we learn from the "knowledge of the herb witches", snack in the berry labyrinth or get to know some of the 500 different mountain herbs.

Valley of the alps

Not far from Königsleiten is the valley of alpine pastures, the Nadernachtal. This original valley is untouched by tourism and is home to five alpine pastures. We start our hike in Ronach, at 1,488 m. We set out on a circular hike on comfortable paths. We will learn all kinds of interesting facts about alpine farming in the Pinzgau, pass herds of cows and sheep and stop at one of the alpine huts. There a hearty alpine snack awaits us and certainly a nice chat with the dairymaid. We will return along the Nadernachbach stream.
